Wow! Thank you for such a neat tool. I hope others can find this and start to map our area out as much as possible.

I really haven't found a BAD place to ride around Providence, RI, just a few roads that could use some work. Even those chopped up roads can be avoided with a little thought before riding.

I'll keep my eye out for others from the NE posting routes here. Stay safe!

 Hey riders,

I found this great ride in Palo Alto, Ca on June 8, 2008

http://www.siliconvalleytourdecure.com

There is a low minimum ($150) and it is a great cause. The long route looks like it has close to 6,000ft of climbing and they have 4 easier routes for varying experience levels.

Hi

Is there any way to make the cursor more prominent (easy to see)?

When I'm measuring routes on maximum hybrid the grey pointer disappears into the grey background of the pavements (sidewalks).

Perhaps a solution might be to have an optional white circle which could be used as an alternative cursor.

Thanks.

Ok, everyone, especially dengleem:

I can't seem to get this to re-adjust the group challenge goals, so the only solution I can come up with is to create a mirror site, get us all to join up, and then re-challenge ourselves ONCE ALL 4 OF US ARE PRESENT IN THE GROUP. (not a shout, just emphasis, so that we don't jump the gun). So, go ahead and join this version of LGP: http://www.mapmyrun.com/community/groups/606156456

and, whosoever is the fourth contestant, sign us up for the Asics 100 again, taking care to enter the retroactive start date (though I'm not really sure if that is possible at this point) of 04/04/2008.

If it doesn't work, well . . just keep running until we each hit our 100mile personal goals, and we'll know that the team all made it!

(in the mean time, enjoy the "99% complete" marker of our group's goal. . .

I wanted to make one route recurring to force me to get out there and run... however ,i find i don't need that reminder as i prefer changing routes. However, the only way i can delete the future (past and present) workouts is if i go one by one, or delete the entire workout type, including the ones i actually did completle, which i also tracked my gear on.

So, i want to know is there anyway to only delete the incomplete and future instances of a reminder?

Hi All, I'm now returning back to running after a back injury (horse riding) I find that running is the (best way for me to keep my weight down... I've had a couple of short (and I mean short) runs over the past few weeks but ended up with shin splints. I've brought myself some new trainers and they seem to be fine. The thing is, i'm up to 5km at t'he gym but running on the treadmill does my head in, its so easy to get off... I prefer to be seeing the sights and getting some where when I run and if I've someone to chat too and encourage me at the same time I think i'd be much more successful.

Question is .. is there anybody inthe DE7 area that would be happy to meet up have a couple of runs, push each other - set joint goals.. I could do with someone else's encouragement.....

I've been getting pains in my lower back recently after running. It does not bother me at all while I am running. Only afterwards it starts to annoy me when I bend down to put on the shoes or pick up the baby.

Would this be to do with the shoes or the distances I am running. I only did 21 miles last week but I noticed it at the start of the week and like I said when I ran the next day it didn't bother me.

It was a bit of a jump from the previous week's run (14 miles) but I felt able to do the extra miles.
