    Bummer.... I'm injured and don't now what I did or how to make it better.

    That's what this discussions is here for.  To know other people that exercise is to know we all get Aches and Pains from exercising.

    So what's your pain?

    Problem: Knee pain on outside of the left knee.  What Exercise did you hurt in or does it hurt in:  Running!  Because I was training for a road ride the last couple of months.  I’ve now just started to ride a Tri bike.   Which I believe has lead to a ITB issue.   I don’t feel it on the bike but when I run.  1st week everything was fine.  I ran 9 miles and the 2nd week I ran 10 miles, and then it happened.  I felt a little pain and it went away during the run.  However as the day went on the leg began to tighten up.  Which lead to a bad Monday(thru Thur) of limping. What have you done so far: Iced it for 15 minutes after run and excercise and elevated it.   Took 1st training day off and then tested 4 days later on the elliptical and the next on a stationary bike.  Swim and bike on 6 day. Day 7, biked and attempted to run, hurt with in a ¼ mile. Stopped.  Took two more days off, swim and run, back at the beginning with pain.Yell

    What I think: ITB stretch, ice, elliptical on a no elevation in 2 & ½ weeks.  Back to base training mileage. Cry

    2 hernaited disks in my back. if my core gets weak and i hurt it, i usually end up bed ridden for 3-4 days. running can agrivate it, but cycling doesn't. so I cycle much more than run.

    2 1/2 weeks off!  It's time to get back on the horse.  I'm going to start slow with 10 minutes on the elliptical and then 10 on the Dreadmill.     Freeweights before to work out upper body and shoulders.   Going Slow and with any hope, I can race in September?Wink
