    Two questions:

    1.  What suggestions do folks have for combating sweaty shorts that ride up in the front while running?  By the end of my run, my shorts are soaked and tend to gravitate upward which isn't too flattering.  Wondering if there are shorts that don't do this or ways to combat it.  I've got 6" Nike DriFit shorts now, and i'm not looking to start wearing spandex.

    2.  What's the consensus on running without a shirt?  It's really hot and humid in DC nowadays and I feel like it could be a good idea, but I've got my own theories about dudes running around without shirts.  Wanted to know if those are unfounded or generally shared by all?

You may want to try body glide or sometimes the deodorant sticks keep the leg area dry but spandex seems like the answer.  My husband won't wear it by itself either however he does wear it under his running shorts.  Try Underarmour.

I personally have no problem running without a shirt. Honestly, the only thing that makes me think twice is that I also wear a heartrate monitor around my chest, so that probably looks a little funny. I justify it by thinking I'm probably not going to see any of these people again anyway. I usually start with a shirt and then take it off mid-run. Not sure I can help with the shorts issue though, sorry.

I went to under armour shorts under my other shorts and I don't get any ride up. As for the shirt, how can we know if it's unfounded if you don't spell out your theory. My thoughts are 'who cares what others think'  and 'if it bothers you, don't do it'.
