Help!: Edited route missing information

I have had good luck over the past couple of weeks creating new routes and editing them.  However, over the past two days I have tried to edit routes by adding length or adding notes.  I save the route and it says it is updated.  However, it does not show my new work.  Also, it has destroyed one of my 100 mile loops and cut it down to 8 miles.  Before I save it I can see the complete route and correct distance, but this changes once it is saved.  A lot of wasted time.  Any help?
