    Hi,

If you want to change your default starting location whenever you map a new route, then just follow these few steps:

    > Login to your account

    > Click on the My Profile link (located at the top of the page)

    > Change your address to your new desired start location

If you want to change the start location on a route that you have already mapped, just click on the Edit Route link located above the map.  You can now move the "Start" icon to your new desired location.  Be sure and save your edited map once you have made your changes.

    Good Luck!

    Gisela

I have my address set, in New Zealand, but my maps open up in Dublin, Ireland. Any ideas how to fix this?

I have the very same problem! I live in Raglan, New Zealand but the map always opens to Raglan Street, Dublin! and I have double checked and I have for sure entered it right in my profile...

Me too!  I'm trying to map a walk in Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario Canada, and it tells me that this starting point is too far away from previous point (my default setting in Indiana, US).  What to do?

That's interesting, I just changed my location from Denver, US to Raglan, NZ and my starting position went to the proper location. I am testing on the new route engine, which will be launched on our site within the next few minutes.

    Hi aea@mmf!

I just removed my street name from my profile (and simply have Raglan, NZ) and that seems to work.

    Thanks,

    Zab

Let me know if you encounter further problems, it's been added to the to-do list and we will look into it when we have the time :)
