Good morning, y'all. I hope everyone's dreams came true at AFC last week. If not, recover and live to race another day.

I won't be at Wednesday's run. Shelby will be there to host it. To prove to you guys how much I trust her, I'm letting her raffle off a few things AND sign your Frequent Runner Cards. Veterans, please take care of her.

It's the last training run for the Nike Human Race on Wednesday, so we're raffling off two more Sportbands and a pair of Nike shoes. Every raffle entry from this month will be thrown into the pot for the shoes. Everyone who hasn't won shoes from us previously is eligible, including Sportband winners.

The Human Race itself will be taking place on Sunday and we have the details finalized. We will be doing a few loops around the neighborhood near Road Runner Sports. It's a 10k and it starts at 8 a.m. We'll have a water station, finish line refreshments, music and lots of giveaways. We'll also be giving a store discount for participants who want to shop that day and we'll open the store an hour early that day for participants (9 a.m.).

Two things . . . Make sure to register here:  https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=G62V9K7/   An RSVP on the Meetup site will not suffice.

Like I said before, if you're going to run you should have Nike+ technology. That being said, I highly recommend you calibrate it. If you're not sure how to do this, log on to nikeplus.com. Also, because of the inaccuracy of the Nike+ technology, we will make a course but your finish might vary depending on what your Sportband or iPod says. Be prepared to run until it says 6.2 miles.

Think of this as more of a fun run than a race! It's an important day for the global running community and it would be pretty cool to say you were a part of it.

    See you on Sunday.

    -Garrett
