Just a general request. It would be nice if we could have our data downloaded so that we could put it into a program like Excel and do some additional anaylsis that this site does not provide.

how about an (x,y,z) .csv output?

or make the exports compatible with Real3D and Computrainer software.

You may not be aware of it (I wasn't until recently) but fairly recent versions of Excel will open and correctly interpret GPX files.

It DID allow exporting routes in CSV format (mapmyrun.com).  Why doesn't mapmyfitness.com allow the same thing?  I use(d) that feature a LOT!!!

You can export to excel now as it is.

Go to "my training" - then "data center" and "training log export".

My excel file has no problem opening and reading the .csv output. It's actually quite helpful at showing the data differently.

In the old version of the site (2 weeks ago) at the bottom of a map was a little thing to "export elevation .csv"  That seems to be gone.

Also, there is no data on the right side of the elevation graph any more to show totoal climb etc.  I read that they are only showing that for climbs over 60m, but I am looking at maps of known 500+ meters and not getting that data.  How do I get that data back?

Elevation Data is being displayed in the 'Route Info' box if there is enough data to support our elevation calculations.

We didn't re-add the *.csv of the data as an informal survey showed that not many users were downloading this data.  I'll look into re-adding it.

One of the biggest challenges with elevation is accuracy so now that we're looking at quality of data sources and looking at purchasing more accurate commercial sources -- if you are an elevation guru or know of someone in GIS that can help us with some of these issues, please send us feedback through our contact us system.

Would really appreciate your re-adding the CSV option.   Even if the data is imperfect, the option is valuable.

I agree, please add the elevation data export feature back to the site.

I do like the new graph, with the grade display, but I often use the exported ascent/descent data and a formula to calculate pace/mile splits for certain courses.

I agree that the .CSV option should be added back.

     Thanks.

I found the csv export very useful when profiling a number of different routes - as I did for planning a cycling trip. I could scale each day's route the same (for both vertical and horizontal axes) so could easily compare one day to the next.

I'd appreciate this being added back in.

I found this an extremely useful feature as well.  Any chance it is going to be returned?
