by: geezerjock - Jul 16 2008, 11:01AM Needed to edit a route ... went into edit mode after functionality was restored ... saved a copy to be safe ... copy save managed to save .6 miles out of the 80+ mile route ... decided to brave editing the original and cannot move any points ...
I keep hoping for the best but ...

by: ronboni - Jul 7 2008, 9:24PM Is there any way to build routes using the old version? I recently selected the new version only to find that I cannot save routes that appear to be longer than 20 miles. The route saves successfully in my profile, but when attempting to go into the detail and download to a GPS (Garmin Edge), I get a scripting error that warns that my system may slow down materially if the script continue to run. I select yes to cancel, and my route is truncated. I have built two different routes to the same result.
Any way to go back, browser is IE 7.0.57?

by: JRGerman - Jul 4 2008, 5:53PM I'll do my best to help! I enjoy using the site and want it to work, just as you do. I've looked under Tools>Addons>Plugins and only see Move Media Player listed. Would there be another location for me to find addons?

by: aea@mmf - Jul 4 2008, 5:48PM JRGerman, are you using any plugins for Firefox? I'm trying to narrow this problem down, but it is extremely rare (our tracking shows less then a dozen users have ever run into it).

by: JRGerman - Jul 4 2008, 5:41PM Okay, I revert back to "old style" under My Profiles. Search, find the route, select Save from the drop down, give it a name and get the confirmation screen it has been saved to My Profile. Go into My Profile, open the ride and it won't display. Error message that I'm panned out too far but nothing will bring the map back on the screen. BUGGY!

by: JRGerman - Jul 4 2008, 5:31PM I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.15 and NOD32 firewalling. I have saved routes just yesterday, which was prior to saying "Yes" to the new website.

by: kevin@mmf - Jul 4 2008, 3:53PM Also, you can change your map preferences under 'My Profile' if you wish to revert back to the old map.
Can you tell us a bit about your browser? Do you have any firewalls or special programs that may be blocking our system from saving the route data?

by: JRGerman - Jul 4 2008, 3:31PM I am having the same error message. It started the moment I said "Yes" to using the new version. Wish I had not done that!
