location: Boise, Idaho distance: 5.97 mi. | Route Type: Run Tags: Offroad, trail, sand, rural, scenic, hilly, rolling Hills, long Climb created by: description: This is a great run and a great workout with three tough hills and then short rolling hills coming back. So close to the city, but this run feels like you are out there. Great scenery from all parts of the trail since you are on upper ridgelines for most of the route. Although the map doesn't show it, there is a good size parking lot off of Cartwright Road. There is also a Ridges to Rivers Map at the trailhead. Make sure to either print this map or check the map at the trailhead since there are additional trails as part of the Polecat series. The Polecat loop is the exterior most part of the trails and the longest. View | Print | Bookmark | Write a Story | Tell-A-Friend | Send a Message |
