I would suggest leaving a water bottle or two near the suggested spots for replenishing. This is also a great route, as it tours the QM tracks of Andover - stoping by the Shawsheen QM track at 1 mile, then the AHS track, then at the 6 mile at the PA track, and I havn't explored Merrimack, but I believe they have a track at the 9 mile mark.
