Started mi 7 (paved parking, restrooms), cont to mi 15, cut across to mi 9, returned to mi 7. Total 12 mi. 2 hrs going slow w/ stops to enjoy vistas. Very hard climb btw 7.5 and 8.5. Climb btw 12 and 14 long and hard, never overwhelming.
