Scenic, low intensity. Great route. Clockwise is easiest counterclockwise gives you harder climbs. Mt. Vernon trail area can get very busy with walkers and tourists BEWARE! Do not expect to exceed 15 mph in this area.

pretty much the standard after-work ride for those who live in arlington. slightly shorter now because of the new bridge under 395 in shirlington.
