Run Description
Nice loop on jogging paths from Crystal City. Convenient from all hotels in Crystal City. Start by going under the tunnel at the "waterworks" near the commuter train station. You can cut it short to about 5 miles by re-crossing Potomic at Memorial Bridge. Note: depending on where your hotel is, it will add about 1/2 to over a mile to the distance! CAUTIONS: Wherever path crosses a road - STOP & LOOK - it's usually a highway! Also, be aware of high cyclist traffic in mornings and evenings. As with all of us, sometimes we forget to be polite.
