My name is Scott, happily married to my lovely wife Susan and have four step-children who can into my life over 13 years ago. I ran cross-country and track all through high school. Was able to complete my first marathon in my junior year in 3 hrs, 38 min, 3o second then never exercised again until I jined a gym in late Feb. 2008. As of today (11/29/08) I have lost 42 lbs, completed a Century in 6 hours 3 min for 101 miles, and completed a 5mile Turkey Chase (4.9 miles) in 39:12 at 7:50 mile. I am having the time of my life as I train for my first Sprint TRI in May 2009.

Strengths: Late February 2008 I made a commitment to reinvent myself by my 48th birthday. Weight was 230 and physical activity had been sedentary for over 25 years. I was tired of the lethargic feeling and starting to run out of breath. Started Planet Fitnes and was introduced to Spinning then I took up Cycling. A milestone was made today as I weighed in this am at 191, biked almost 50 miles at 16 mph (avg) and will take on a Century in 4 weeks. I am having the time of my life...My strengths are my relentless attitude, perseverance, and commitment to resolve my past (mother's early death) by living well past 48.
