I'm very new to cycling, though I rode quite a bit when I was younger. I have recently purchased and fixed up a pretty old 10 speed and am looking to start getting healthy. My doctor recommended I buy the bike after a knee injury I sustained as it is supposedly wonderfully therapeutic. I am eager to learn and get as much as I can out of cycling, though I do not anticipate becoming a participant in races any time soon (or ever for that matter). I'm simply here to have a good time, learn what I can, and hopefully rehabilitate my knee and shed some pounds while I'm at it.
