when i download from my garmin it would be nice if it also downloaded or polulated the work out info such as pace and time.
When viewing the training calendar, I would prefer to see things such as average running pace or total time run. Maybe a user-customizable form. I don't use the daily logs so I have a few items in the summary that just say n/a.
Also, as mentioned in a Contact Us message, I would like the shoe tracker to have a $ / mile calculation. The Runners World Training Log has this feature. It doesn't serve much purpose, just puts things into perspective. But it shouldn't be too hard.
Right now it is someone tedious to edit a route that has already been saved if you want to add a section in the middle of the run. You must first click a point and then add another point before or after it and then drag that new point to where you want it. Is there a way to make this an easier task?
When searching for runs in a particular area, the results from typing in location should be filterable, so that I can narrow it down by distance. Right now Washington DC has 4300+ routes that I must click 1 page at a time to get up to 8 miles (or whatever distance).
However, I would really love it if, in mapping routes, you could just drag the mouse instead of clicking point after point. It seems like that would be more accurate that doing straight lines.
Great site guys! You know what '08 would rock with? The ability to add more than 1 run per 'activity'. I run a 8m loop, then sometimes continue on to a 4m loop. As it stands, I have to make 2 activities for that day (and split up the time of the entire run over the 2 ativities). It would be nice to be able to add more than 1 route per activity.
Also when I click a point in a route, it seems to think I want to add in a another point, when 99% of the time I just want to drag that point a little bit.
This site really does rock. However, I'd love a feature that disabled auto-map panning. You know what I'm talking about - you insert a marker near the edge of the map, and MMR then moves the map based on where it thinks you're going.
Maybe this is a google maps thing, but I'd love the auto-pan to be an option rather than mandatory.
twilight hours-
this is an option. in the left panel there are 5 check boxes. The 3rd one is Auto-Center Map. Uncheck this and it will not follow where you go. You will need to drag the map to the next place you want to show.
I love the various features of MapMyRun, MapMyTri, etc. I like some of the other feedback already mentioned, but would also like two other things.
1. Add Skiing and snowshoeing.
2. Create a function similar to "Events" that is geared toward group fitness activities, not races. Also, I tried using the Events feature in this fashion, but, when created the same day as the event, it wouldn't show up in my group's calendar, listing it in the past on the day of the activity.
