Hey Folks:

With all the sporty people in here, I figure you're the best group to ask. I always have really hot feet, and as soon as it's 50° outside I can't stand wearing shoes unless I have to.

I have a pair of Birkenstocks that I've been wearing for years. This year when I started wearing them I became aware that they are smelly. Feet-smelly. I've been happy not to have that problem with them in the past (cuz my feet can smell), but no more.

Can anyone recommend a good sandal for someone with FLAT FEET (i.e., arch support important) that don't take on odors and don't break the bank? If I didn't have to use a bunch of velcro, I'd love that, and I can make sacrifices

Montrail's Molokai sandals are pretty sweet with arch support. As far as I know they don't smell bad, but maybe they do. All of the people who I've sold them to and are returning customers speak of how much they love them.

They are 50 bucks retail, so not too expensive either
