Help!: Cant figure out how to edit the long description of my event.

Is there any way to edit the long description of my event?  I planned on using that section to track information as it came in such as when someone said there were t-shirts i wanted to add that to the long description so that i did not have to email everyone to let them know of the change.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
