    El Guapo is a running club in the Avondale/Riverside/Ortega/Murray Hill neighborhood area of Jacksonville. New runners of all abilities are always welcome. Visit our website for a listing of daily group runs and feel free to join the club's Yahoo group. Ask about our Tuesday night kids' track workout we've added to the weekly routine as well!

     Daily run schedule is below and also available by visiting our club's website.

    MONDAYS - 5:15am - Florida Yacht Club
    3 mile run looping around to Timaquana and back. This course is very beginner friendly. Running, walking, skipping, hopping and dancing are allowed.

    TUESDAY - 5:15am - Avondale Shops to Lee High School Track
    Our traditional track day. At least two different pace groups have been formed and additional solo track work is welcomed.... ..One mile run to the track and back from the track to warm up and cool down....

    WEDNESDAY - 5:15am - Starbucks parking lot- Corner of Hwy 17 and San Juan Ave. 
    Tempo run (slow, fast, slow, fast, slow) 5 mile course can be cut short to 4 miles.

    THURSDAY - 5:15am - YMCA Downtown - Bridges
    Our bridge loop is 4.3 miles and includes 2 trips over the Acosta and Main Street Bridge. All paces welcome and you will NEVER be left alone

    FRIDAY - 5:15am - St. Marks - Ortega River Run Course
    5 mile loop course...with variations in the course to make it 3 miles or 4 miles loops.....

    SATURDAY - 5:45am and 6:30am - Foxx in Avondale
    4 mile loop course down to Memorial Park and back...2 chances to do it......pick one or both...6:30 loop is traditional a social run...lets continue this! BREAKFAST after the second loop!

    SUNDAY - 6:00am Publix Parking lot in 5 Points
    This is new.....6 mile loop course through downtown river walks and historic San Marco for a trip on River Road........ beautiful course.....can be cut shorter for those not wanting or needing a ten mile run
