I have been running since January 7th.  I run 12 miles a week.  4.5 Miles on Sunday, 3 Miles on Tuesday, 1.5 Miles on Wednesday doing interval training, and 3 miles on Friday.  I have been feeling very tired and not been able to finish my runs. My legs feel very heavy. Any ideas?

Vary your workouts.  Get a heart rate monitor and use it for training.  Also record your morning heart rate and respond to the information with your training plan.  Practice active recovery, be seen by a Dr to make sure nothing else is wrong, hydrate properly, eat, rest better.  The list goes on and on.  Get a good book about running that includes this kind of information.

I'm going to echo Jef and emphasize "RECOVERY" and REST!  Tired, heavy legs = nearing over-training.  Take care of yourself.  :)
