location: Tucson, Arizona distance: 5.52 mi. | Route Type: Run created by: description: This is a rough sketch of the April 12, 2008 Everyone Runs Catalina St. Park 5.7 & 11 Mile Trail Race. The course starts along side of the main parking lot and then enters the Canyon Loop Trail (clockwise). After the "92 Stair Climb" there is a short out and back on the Montrose Pools Trail and then back onto the Canyon Loop Trail. After finishing the Canyon Loop (3 miles) the run crosses the main park road to the Nature Trail loop (1 mile) and then onto the Bridal Trail for an out and back (1.7 miles). At this point the course takes a short cross on the far east side of the parking lot and turns west to the start/finsih line. <br> <br> Please note that this is our first attempt at plotting an Everyone Runs' course on www.mapmyrun.com. Exact distances will vary by prgrams and GPS units. If you have any questions or comments please email us at everyoneruns@comcast.net. location: Tucson, Arizona distance: 16.09 mi. | Route Type: Run Tags: Mountains, Pavement And Sidewalk, Residential Area, Suburban, Very Hilly created by: description: This is a very hilly route designed by Bart Erickson, hence the name, "Bart's Loop." It's a BIZATCH! And it's awesome! A group of people meet religiously at Sabino Canyon to start this run every Saturday at 5:30 or 6:00 a.m. There's a break for water at a high school around half way through. Good luck if you dare run this route! View | Print | Bookmark | Write a Story | Tell-A-Friend | Send a Message |
