I rode this on Saturday Feb 28th and I really enjoyed it. For the most part the roads were quiet Saturday morning and the routes along the San Diego River and the coast were beautiful. However thee is no way to be prepared for Hill Road!

Beautiful ride. Early a.m. w/ marine layer in summer time. 1 very challenging hill—Hill Street (No kidding!) 1/4 mile straight up. The rest is mellow.

Good stop at Cabrillo Nat'l monument has great views. $3 cover for bikes.
