Bike Ride Description
I am biking and running a total of 10,000 miles to support the charity "Hope for the Warriors." I will plot the total miles I run and bike overlayed onto this map. The 10,000 miles is the equivalent of a bike/run "from" Camp Lejeune, NC, to Camp Pendleton, CA, to Lake Ozette, WA, to Cranberry Isles, ME, to Key West, Fl and back to Camp Lejeune--a distance of approximately 10,300 miles. I am doing this to raise money for the wounded Marines of Iraq who are at Wounded Warrior Battalion--East in Camp Lejeune. I will not 'literally' run/bike this route but will keep a tally of the miles I accumulate running and biking where I live and provide weekly updates of my progress. This is a long endeavor that I will complete. 100% of the funds donated go to Hope for the Warriors.
