Profile

My whole life I was an "intellectual" (no, really; that's how I referred to myself). I wasn't active, although I (hypocritically) professed the importance of caring for your body. But I didn't do anything about it. Maybe lifted the occasional weight. Biked the occasional mile. Then I started training for a triathlon. I did my first one on July 18, 2006, and swore that I'd never do it again. The next day, I couldn't wait to do another race! Since then, my journey has taken far, far into the realms of physical fitness. I'm currently a personal trainer at a local gym. Besides personal training, I coach triathletes, coordinate my gym's multisport club, teach swim lessons, manage the aquatics department, and teach group fitness classes. I love my job (most of the time) and the difference I'm making in people's lives. I'd love to help make a difference in your life, so if you have any questions about health and fitness, please feel free to contact me!
