McMinnville - Monmouth - Eola Hills - McMinnville
This has got to be one of the the very best rides in Oregon: scenic, peaceful, very good roads, low traffic, and a nice mix of flat, rollers, and some short but challenging climbs in the Eola hills. As an alternative, start the ride in Dayton. It will shorten the drive from Portland, and eliminate most of the section on 99W between Amity and McMinnville. There are a few relatively short sections on highways, but the traffic and road surface isn't bad, and well worth the price for access to the rest of the great riding in between. If you want minimum traffic on those sections, ride on Sunday morning. I would rate most of the ride as easy, but long distance and some steep climbs notch it up to medium or hard depending on your level of fitness and experience. - a 68.7 mi cycling route in Mcminnville, Oregon
